Same here as far as Verizon plan. Works well for our needs. YMMV. I gave up on using Chippie in the Cupecoy area. We have Verizon at home, we do the 10.00 a day plan or 40 a month depending on how long we are there. So many places have Wi-Fi you can stay on airplane mode. Use WhatsApp on Wi-Fi for calling and making reservations.
