After decades and multiple charters and good experiences with Moorings, we switched to DYC in June 2017 for another trip to the BVIs and saved a bundle on a Lagoon 52 for a crew of 7 adults and 4 kids. No pool or onsite restaurant at Hodges Creek, but the staff was great. Email Jenny at amazinglife64@yahoo.com. Very responsive and helpful. Check this thread for a ton of information on SVI. Our crew of six adults originally planned our trip for November 2017, but the hurricanes caused us to postpone to April 2018. Had a great time. Sailing Information Requested For SVI and St CroixCaution: This is not a BVI trip. Do you have bluewater experience? In April, we regularly saw 6' to 8' seas in 18 to 22 knot winds. The worst Caribbean sailing experience we ever had was a trip 20 years ago out of Canouan in late December. The "Christmas Winds" and accompanying seas kept us confined to the Tobago Cays and prevented us from heading north to Bequia and Mustique. Since then, we limit our Caribbean sails to April - June. Feel free to PM me with specific questions.
