I've looked around online and can't find any mention of activity to rebuild Long Bay. They haven't posted on their Facebook page since immediately after Irma, and their website has the same "Closed until further notice, Updates will be provided in the coming weeks" message that's been there for the past year.

Can anyone who has been on-island update on whether there is activity ongoing to rebuild?

No real activity to speak of. Still looks pretty much the same.

The property has sold and buyer has started cleaning up. Not sure when it will be open as there is a lot of work to be done.

As a previous Timeshare owner, I receive an update every now and then. Last heard yes, the property has been sold and I believe the plan is focused on reopening the Hill areas along with the pool. All beachfront slices of Paradise are no longer viable .......so sad,,,,,
