The water is shallow there at Sea Cow’s Bay so Brent wanted to take us out himself. It’s a good thing that he did because we had issues with the sails. They had not been furled correctly and with 25 knot winds, we were very glad to have discovered the problem while Brent was on board. Dropped him off at Marina Cay and had a great sail over to Norman Island. Dinner at Pirates – good but not great.

Lost a pillow overboard and in the excitement of rescuing the pillow we somehow lost our gaff. We realized that we didn’t have the spare that we had been told was on the boat. So we had to cross back over to meet Brent and get 2 new gaffs. He didn’t charge for the lost gaff since we should have had 2 to begin with and we had to spend time and fuel to go back for the replacements.

Great snorkeling at Cooper – someone had said Cistern Point was like falling into an aquarium and it was true. It was AWESOME! I saw one Lionfish but he disappeared.

By now, we were starting to notice the sailor bruises and soreness. Note to self - “be in better shape on the next trip”

Had a nice long sail up Sir Frances Drake and on to Leverick. Bushwhackers at Jumbies, some more provisions and a nice dinner onboard. Free water and ice at Leverick in the morning and on to Bitter End for the breakfast buffet and endless mimosas.

Being off season, there weren’t many people there so we decided to take some time in the shade so we hung out at the beach at BEYC for the day. We kept the bar tab open and did some shopping and enjoyed the AC in the bathrooms!

The next morning we took the trail from BEYC to the Biras Creek Resort. It’s beautiful and gave us good opportunities for photos as well as a little exercise.
