Another option might be hiring a personal chef. At least pre-Irma, you could have someone come to the villa and prepare your meal. You arrange the menu in advance. That way you could arrive, relax and enjoy a delicious meal. We have also done this. In addition, we provided the chef with a list of other food we wanted for the rest of the week and she shopped for us and brought all the food to the villa. We typically have the chef make snacks and dinner the first night. Get them a room somewhere and have them prepare breakfast the next day. The money saved on having someone shop for us on Tortola typically covers the cost of their fees.
