Day - Tuesday, July 23nd -- Our Third day on the island:


Today was pretty much the same as the previous days so far, so I won’t bore you with more of the same. Suffice it to say we that enjoyed the beach again today. This morning we did however stop at the little bakery in Orient Village, and picked up some chocolate croissants to take with us. We’ve bought them there before and they were good then, and you know what they still are.

Also on the beach today, we finally got to see George (he used to work for Pedro’s, but now is working for Cheryl and Andy), and we had a long talk about what’s been happening in his life since we last saw him a year ago. He is such a nice guy, and we miss him at Pedro’s, which is where we usually set up.

Also it was good to see Willie at the Perch today. IMHO, she makes the best drinks on the beach.

I mentioned earlier that the the seaweed is BAD down on our end of the beach. Here is a few photos that show what I mean.

So once again after a “hard day at the beach” we headed home. I cannot for the life of me understand how I can be so tired, after doing nothing by lounging on the beach all day. It must have something to do with this Sand Gravity phenomena...
