I noticed that in a lot of photos, and live cameras palms look healthy.Did they replant a lot or are they just pretty hardy trees?

THey planted some but not all palms got destroyed by Irma. If the top broke off they are essentially dead. If only the palms got broken off and the crown is still there they will and a lot have come back with the all year growing season on St Maarten. As did many trees that lost all their leaves.

Thanks! The other question would have been the other trees. Hard to believe how green the island is now after that. Must be a big supplier somewhere for those replacement palms. KP

Right now, most things on the island are very green because there has been so much rain.

The palm trees that are imported usually come from Puerto Rico.
