Has anyone stayed at the Grand Caymanian? Would welcome any comments, good or bad. Also, what not to miss on the island. Best, affordable restaurants, snorkeling, etc. There are 6 of us, but we do have a vehicle rented.

I like to go to Cemetery Reef which is in the West Bay area of Seven Mile Beach. The reefs are about 300 yards off shore.
I've had fun snorkeling from the Eden Rock Dive Shop just out of town.
A trip to Stingray City is great an adventure! Karen

Must visit Sting Ray City. Don't care if you think it is hokey of if you are concerned about getting "stung". Just go. It is so worth it. I have a snorkel guide for my favorite areas. Google Testudo's Snorkeling Guides. http://snorkelblog.tumblr.com/Cheaper eats: Sunshine Grill, Tim Buc Tuu, Cimboco, Dukes, Al Fresco, Kurt's Korner, roadside BBQ and Jerk/fish Fry's, Guy Harvey's dinner specials, Chicken Chicken!, EATS.
Snorkel air just tastes better than canned air...
