First and foremost my husbands insists that I let Deepti, Jeff and Kamal know that it was me and not him that desided against the ring. With that said here I go.<br><br>4/24 Left JFK N/S on time arrived 30mins early, no problems with the exception of a VERY uptight and rude flight crew, given whats going on with the airlines I was not surprised. Check in at Maho smooth and we were in our suits drinking Pina Coladas in the water by 1pm. the beach at Maho is very clean, quiet and small we were dissapointed by no beach service there. Mahos pool was wonderful, it was cleaned everyday and the bar in the pool was great fun. After a long day we just had salads and burgers at the hotel.<br><br>4/25: up at 8am having coffee on the balcony, best times were the mornings having coffee and talking about how great this all is, after a morning on the beach headed over to SSBB, what a great time the bbq chef, can not remember his name was wonderful. back to the pool bar for a few Rum Punches shower change and off to Cheris Cafe...I cant believe I have not heard much about this place it is truly a GREAT TIME.. good band they get everyone involved dancing singing being loud and crazy, this is a not miss place. off to the casino I won husband lost .<br><br>4/26 Well after SSBB, Cheris and the Casino alittle hung over So we desided to pick up our Jeep Hertz rental great service very helpful. Off to Phillipsburg for shopping I will say I am glad we went down there, however I would not make this a priority stop on any future trips. everyone on DK Gems was wonderful and we really enjoyed meeting them as it happens we all lived in San Diego at one time. Dinner at La Rosa in Maho area again another great resturant not mentioned much the Garlic Shrimp was excellent.<br><br>4/27 Off to Anguilla, snorkeling and swimming Shoals Bay and Meads bay and a swim with the dolphins (please dont crusify me about the dolphins) Anguilla is a beautiful island and our guide Erika was fantanstik Dinner at Paris Bistro another great dinner with music and even alittle dancing.<br><br>4/28 Check in Hotel Beach Plaza...went smooth another beautiful hotel crummy beach off to Orient Beach went to Bikini Beach no trouble finding chairs ate and drank there for the next two days. WHAT FUN!!!!<br><br>our last day after a day at Orient Beach walking swimming and enjoying all of the beaches up there off to Marios Bistro for Dinner, and it was excellent the food service the whole experience.<br> <br>Flight home bad....full flight and stuck on runway for over an hour somekind of "minor" problem, arrived JFK over an hour late. oh well.<br><br>Summary: We have visited several Islands Aruba, Bahamas, St. Thomas, Hawaii, Bermuda just to name a few and We have to say SXm ranks right up there with our favorites we would return in a heartbeat..however We would only stay up at Orient Beach..that is were we fell in love with SXM please excuse any typos <br><br>Dreaming of SXM Maureen
