I also seen the beach boy at Karacters tell the roaming massage lady she couldn't do massages on their beach chairs. She had to do it off their property.
Thanks, Wendell for posting these nice pictures. I honestly can't remember if there were warning signs about beach peddlers in the past (just cameras by Club O.). These must be new. I realize that these folks get kind of annoying when they would come up to you every 20 minutes or so, but a polite 'no' with a smile always sent them along there way. In some ways I kind of feel bad for them because these are locals just trying to make a few bucks after Irma. We never bought a massage, but we have purchased some other items including a pair of beach towels a few years ago.
Hi, I can definitely confirm the beach vendor warning sign was there pre Irma. I would end my morning beach walk at Bikini and head to Macaron for un café et deux croissants to take back for breakfast. Saw the sign daily. I would guess it’s a new sign, but it’s the same wording.
Looking forward to seeing the sign again in under six weeks
