The BVI good news just keeps getting better.

No hoards of cruise shippers mobbing Cane Garden Bay, Pussers new bar, Beautiful beach, small wavelets lapping up on shore,
and there appears to be plenty of moorings available..

Myettes ( now Pussers ) was our usual hang, and now we will be adding in the Elm.....hoping to enjoy the Elmtones , as well.

Just wondering if they have improved the dinghy dock, up near Quitos post Irma. No big deal, just curious.

Thanks again, I have now begun, to check out that video cam, every morning. Still have to the last two weeks in May before we will be there.

I read on a FB page, some CCB folks lamenting the fact that the dinghy dock was still not in good repair, they couldn't understand why the powers that be wouldn't prioritize it as all the businesses there rely upon the charter trade for business.

Shame on the Gov that good folks like Jason have to fix the dinghy dock...they are more concerned about planting palm trees for the cruise shippers than taking care of the cruisers who actually spend $$$. Most certainly Sunday nights at The Elm are special with The Elmtones and Tony's bar b q (and other dishes). As I posted before do get there early. We try to nab the top table by the band at 5.30 so friends can join us..by 7.30 the place is overflwoing with a wait for tables and food. This is great news for Elvet and his staff..and the band. So far two of The Elmtones (Steve Davies and Steve Butcher) have been playing Weds at Puss..etts..

Mal - do you know if The Elm takes reservations?

As of two weeks ago, the dinghy dock at CGB was serviceable, albeit a bit course. Not a place I would like to find myself after dark. Neither the dinghy dock nor the path around Quito's are welcoming to bare feet.

We have not tried to reserve since Sandra left..worth a try..or drop by if you are in the bay..some tables do seem to be reserved..see you there!

We will be there Friday, March 29th, staying at Rhymers, so plan on going to The Elm on Sunday, March 31st. Looking forward to seeing you.

This was our recent experience. I have seen that dock in much worse shape, though.

Looks like a big cruise ship day!

Happy for the businesses at CGB, but not sure I want to be there when it's so crowded. Time to check the cruise ship schedule.

If those businesses got $$$ from the cruiser shippers it would be one thing..but..not so much. They leave by 2.30..that's the time to head to CGB..

Mal's right. Look closely at the cruise crowd next time and you'll see very few with any drink or food. Yesterday the beach was packed and there were just two guys at the bar.
