I doubt the new government had anything to do with that increase - too short in office to even get sworn in until yesterday.

No question, this is the outgoing team. Probably trying to make the numbers work on their airport extension boondoggle. Just hoping the new team cancels that and tells the Chinese to take a flying leap.

Just hoping the new team cancels that and tells the Chinese to take a flying leap. The Chinese have substantially cut back on their overseas direct investments. They may no longer be willing to finance the airport boondoggle.

No..that would be excellent! Now that St Thomas plans expansion etc all we need is state of the art ferries and someone at the airport giving out rum, helping folks onto shuttles and getting em here..nah , not gonna happen.
