I rarely read anything in Jeff Berger's newsletter that I haven't already read here or on Facebook. However, this week's newsletter had some information I wasn't previously aware of.

Rima, formerly on Pondfill Road and then on Back Street (?) is now on the shore side of Front Street, and it's called Kenny's; Berger's newsletter says it's the official Rima store. It's apparently 125 yards west of city center. I assume "city center" is the courthouse, but don't know if that's what he means.

I saw a "Kenny's" today but did not venture in.

BTW, The Horny Toad looks GREAT!

As of a month ago it was still called Rimas. If you are in the center of P'Burg and in the pay parking lot facing the T shirt vendors. It is down to the right about a block. Across from the Nagico Ins. building.

I went to a place called Kenny's. which was on OLD Street, before Irma. They had some Rima stuff, but not much and I was not impressed. Hopefully they have more Rima stuff now.

According to the newsletter, they have a big selection. The building on Front Street is smaller than the original building on Pondfill Road so I imagine the selection is not as large as the original Rima.

No, but but close. I did have a talk with the woman who was the boss ( what ever that means) and I got the feeling the grand scale of the "old store" wasn't going to happen.
I did see many packages addressed to other islands in the Caribbean. And I also did see many packages labeled from a Miami company with tourists products.

I think that's the old location. They are now on Front Street per Jeff Berger.

I wouldn't think they would need a store as large as the one on Pondfill Rd to cater to the cruise ship passengers. There was a lot of nick knacks and trinkets in that store that to me just took up space.

I think that's the old location. They are now on Front Street per Jeff Berger.

Kenny's is now on the water side of Front St. and directly across from a casino. It is Rima branded merchandise, pretty packed full with music playing that left a lot do be desired. Address on their business card is 79 C Front St.

Also as a side note, there is a store near the beginning of the boardwalk as you are approaching from The Greenhouse end that is named "RAMA WORLD". At first glance I thought it was another location for RIMA but after looking again, I noticed the slight difference of the name. Perhaps they have the same or similar merchandise but it made me take a second glance to be sure.

No. It is kind of on the corner as you head towards Front St. Probably the same stuff. Probably no more trips into town as time is running down.

Rama World has been there for several years, before Rima closed for sure.

I've only seen them from outside; they seem to have similar sundresses and such as Rima had. It's a small shop on the boardwalk.
