Another glorious day in St. Martin. We spent the day at Le Sand in Baie Nettle. What a gorgeous beach restaurant and bar. The chairs, bar and restaurant area are all white with some beige. There was a nice breeze all day and while there was some seaweed there were two beach guys trying to rake. We went swimming at the end of the day and enjoyed the minimal waves.

After reviewing the menu we decided against eating lunch there because the menu offered only heavy meals and we did not want to eat that much. Entrees are priced from 24 to 42 euros. No salads and the appetizers were not appealing to us. The cost for two chairs and umbrella was $20.

We had dinner at a new place for us the Stone with John and Michelle. They offer a light menu with smaller portions with and one side in addition to heartier versions with two sides. David and I decided on the lighter menu. I had the sea scallops (4) which were served on a hot stone and my choice for a side was truffle mashed potatoes - $19. David had the 6 oz beef fillet and his choice for a side was the rosemary roasted potatoes - $25. With 2 cocktails, a wine and 2 club sodas our bill was $72.50 w/o gratuity. We enjoyed our meal while dining outdoors and were happy to see a light menu as we had sandwiches late in the day from Zee Best so we were not overly hungry. Only two more full days on the island. Sigh!
