It has been a while but I don't believe there are hotels right at the Charlotte airport. We drove to Charlotte and did a park/sleep and fly and I think we were about two miles from the airport.

I have flown in and out of Charlotte MANY times. It's an easy airport to get in and out of. The hotels are really close by with free shuttles. No worries about making your flight! Have a great time!!
