An impressive number of cairns have appeared to memorialize Club Orient's Papagayo. The friends made. The food. The dancing. The experience! We hadn't seen them posted anywhere, so here are some photos taken last week.

Lots of rocks to get rid of later. Once a storm blows through and they get covered with sand it will be hard on your feet.

The memories were really special. And, thanks for referring to these little monuments as 'cairns'. Our cairn terrier 'Duncan' also thanks you! Some day my wish is for a new, vibrant restaurant in that same place with an outdoor bar, restrooms, etc. Hope this just doesn't stay a wish forever.

They've multiplied since we were there in December. We'll also be there this December (1-15). Airfare booked but haven't decided on accommodations yet.

I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.
