My wife and I are staying on St John and woke up today to see a catamaran ferry disabled along Johnson reef. There were two smaller Interisland ferries assisting, and one seemed to have towed the cat back to either Cruz Bay or St Thomas.
I can't find anything online about it, but it looked as though the port side engine may have caught fire. Any news on the coconut telegraph?

The ferries hardly ever go by the rules of the road and take short cuts.

The large cat was clearly disabled. The smaller ferry was tied alongside and towing it westward.
