They terrorized half the island on Sunday. Young bunch of kids on all kinds of two wheelers from scooters to motorbikes. We were stuck in traffic (that they caused) coming back from Orient near the turn to Pic Paradise. They were extremely loud, riding crazy, on one wheel and most had no helmets.

We actually saw some in Hope Estate talking to some riders. We joked at the time we hoped they were confiscating the bikes!

My wife and I were driving back from Orient Sunday and got stuck in the same mess with the bikers. We saw one rider get pulled over in Marigot but it hardly put a dent in the amount of chaos they were causing.

Neither the police on the Dutch nor the Gendarmes did anything at all.
There were well over 150bikers roaming the roads on both sides of the island, some of them with no numberplates, most of them for sure without insurance, one wheeling and speeding like crazy.
