It appears there may be some pooling of water behind the chairs but I don't really get it either.

Misleading yes. But also more a river than a pool.
Cupecoy more natural pools at times.

Someone on FB called it Lake Cedrick.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

I apologize for the misleading title to my post. I thought at the time it was crafty!

Some people who aren't that familiar with Club O didn't know that there has been an ongoing argument for YEARS among Club O regulars over whether there should be a pool or not. I thought it was kind of funny.

Thanks! I always thought the resort should have a pool. I stayed there from 1983 to 1990. When I brought it up to the Brinks the response was something like why would you want to swim in a pool when you have the beach and the beautiful sea. I thought it was funny since at the time the gate house had a pool and the Brinks double wide had a jacuzzi! 🤔

For people who stayed there, it would have been nice, but I personally thought it would have been just too much of a headache for them to police, to keep people out of the pool that weren't staying there, and there is no WAY they could have a big enough pool to just let everyone in.

New natural pool ... nice. Is it clothing optional?
