Sent reply but must have hit wrong button. Again, we saw one restroom just North of The Perch area. Not much but at least something.

According to reports in the French-side media, the Comm has finished its part of the work on the beach carbet area near Club O. That work included the restoration of public restrooms. Although you will need to wear something to get to those washrooms, I believe they will be better than the one near the Perch as they will have running water.

The Collectivite finished what they were going to do as far as the individual carbets, which was only the underground work. We went by there the other day and took some pictures, which I will try to find later and post. One of the carbets is basically almost finished and should be ready to go soon. Of the others, I believe there are only three others that have even begun construction, and it's not much. The others are WAY far away from being anywhere close to done. I really doubt that any of the others will be open this season. As far as the bathrooms there, while I didn't try to go inside, I really seriously doubt that they are usable.

According to the stories in the French-side media indicates that the Comm was also looking lighting, and toilets:

Completely destroyed by Hurricane Irma, the Baie Orientale Carbets will once again be able to welcome visitors during the next tourist season. In spite of the accumulated delay, the Community has just completed the installation of the collective infrastructures, the creation of the networks of water and sanitation, the pedestrian alleys, the toilets and the public lighting being with its load. The Community has also taken over the installation of 8 kiosks (mini-shops) and 2 sites intended for nautical activities. The AOTs were awarded by decision of the Planning Commission and endorsed by the vote of the Executive Council. Operators of restaurants and shops can now begin their installation according to the specifications defined by the Collectivité,

From the same source there is this:

In order to finalize the development of this essential beach, the Community is thinking of creating a beautiful pedestrian promenade along the beach with two large parking spaces. The goal is to allow residents and tourists to enjoy a deck along the beach. This project is still under study and will be carried out in a second phase of work
