Love that beach. From what I understand the French government removed by force Gus and the other restaurant. For many years they operated there rent free without proper health permits, tax payments or government licenses or permission. I miss the option to rent chairs but I love the new clean natural beach. It’s really a gorgeous beach and one of our favorites.

We were wondering if there is still discrete nudity on Baie Rouge. We loved going there.

Hi, I read on trip advisor from a post dated July 2019 that you had to get permission at the guard house to park and go onto Baie Rouge Beach. Does anyone know if this is true. Planning on going in December and want to know what to expect.
Thanks!

There is no guard there. Park in the parking lot as before. Just no services.
