If you have been a visitor to St. Martin/Sint Maarten for any length of time you may have heard about the "Be The Change" Foundation and all they have done for the island. One of the two founders of the organization, Mélanie Choisy, just won a very prestigious award for her work with the foundation. She was given the award in Holland. Melanie is an exceptional young lady. Takes after her Aunt Erika Cannegieter who founded BTC, and her very special grandmother Barbara Cannegieter.
