So today we didn’t do much - what’s new? That seems to be about the over-all theme of this trip and that’s okay. We’ve been here so many times there really isn’t much that piques my interest and I really do hate to shop for almost anything. Yes! Even jewelry these days. Sorry, Manu and Max.......
Saba is still out there and becomes more viewable as the day passes. We’re also seeing Statia and I think st.Kitts vaguely.
We went to Jules for some pastries and then Carrefour Express this morning. Lake Mullet was trying to form when we came home and by the time we got beyond Alegria, White Sands Lake was there already. Hopefully it will have receded by the time we head out for dinner. Chatted with friends at the pool between the intermittent showers earlier and then lunched on our patio. And then, we were so spent from all that inactivity we decided naps were in order. A really tiring day.
Showered and dressed to meet friends at Marks for dinner. We literally closed the place down. The food - mussels for two of us - and fish and steak for the others - it was all delicious and the company even better. Home and bed soon come
Respectfully,
pat

Sounds like a good day. We ran into Manu at Izi the other night.

Haven’t seen him yet this trip. We still haven’t gone to town. Or to Mullet. Or back to Anse Marcel again. Methinks we need a social director..........

Now Pat, I thought there was a social director already on island that was going to take care of organizing all your time?? Glad you are having a good trip!

Well, the official activities director went home on Friday - she did keep us on the go.
Truthfully, Carol, I just haven’t felt physically up to a lot this trip. Spending time with the kids and the McKnights has been very nice but actually getting into doing ‘stuff’ hasn’t been much of an option this trip. And that’s okay - I’ll take SXM any way I can have it.

OK, glad to hear you will have several days left without her services! Glad you have been able to enjoy Beachside, which, as you know, the best way to enjoy BSV is to do nothing..

I know how you feel about doing "stuff". The most I like to do is move my lounge chair into the shade and make the big decision about where we'll eat that night. Works for me!!
