Hello! Interested in the opinion of lovers of yachting in the area. We planned for February with four of our acquaintances to relax in Saint Martin, mostly on the water, and so, I would like to know which yacht is best to rent for this area for a comfortable and relatively budget vacation with fishing, for at least 4 days, which is something like this 2yachts.com/boat/81768-lagoon-400-s2 or is 2yachts.com/boat/72144-sailboat-hunter-410-125m suitable too? Is it worth it to overpay for the first option, otherwise I would like to save the budget for a longer vacation on the island, and get pleasure on the water. Or maybe you’ll advise other options, otherwise we don’t have any yachting experience)

And the most important question: how is the weather in February, is it possible to fully relax on the water?

Thanks in advance smile

I would prefer the catamaran as some of the anchorages around St Martin can be quite 'rolly'. The Hunter would be fine if you were experienced sailors. February can be quite windy so again the catamaran, in my opinion, is better for beginners.

I know this is maybe a little late for you, but we booked a Cat Charter with Aravilla out of Simpson Bay. Very resonable priced and they will work any schedule or activity out for you to enjoy. I know they show on there schedule to still have available dates for Feb.

An interesting offer, thank you, we’ll take it into account next year smile If nothing hurts again ... frown And then this year we didn’t get a break due to work, and when the opportunity arose, they announced a strange pandemic and closed everything ...

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it
