A very special man has left us. Captain John Stewart passed away on June 30th. Anyone who had spent a day with this lovely gentleman on his boat Island Roots knows what a special person he was. Our family spent New Years Day with him a few years ago and it was one that will never be forgotten as we introduced our future son-in-law to our family’s love of snorkeling and the blue water. Capt. John had had a late night (early morning) with a private charter to Foxy’s for Old Years Night Celebration, yet he greeted us with a smile on his face and couple classic zings with his New England sense of humor. The weather was perfect and so was our host.
