A very special man has left us. Captain John Stewart passed away on June 30th. Anyone who had spent a day with this lovely gentleman on his boat Island Roots knows what a special person he was. Our family spent New Years Day with him a few years ago and it was one that will never be forgotten as we introduced our future son-in-law to our family’s love of snorkeling and the blue water. Capt. John had had a late night (early morning) with a private charter to Foxy’s for Old Years Night Celebration, yet he greeted us with a smile on his face and couple classic zings with his New England sense of humor. The weather was perfect and so was our host. Capt John has departed the paradise of St John - May his trip to eternal paradise be swift.
