I have had a few calls from people reading here on TTOL about what is going on. This is a situation the island does not need. Not sure what the answer is but burning cars, blocking roads and subsequent commerce and destroying property is NOT the answer.

I'm sorry, this situation is ridiculous. The gendarmes need to ensure there is at least one way to get from the French to the Dutch side.. Whatever it takes.

No Actually I was stranded on the Dutch side trying to get one of our cars actually the last one. Well the good thing is that it is at a gas station.
