Husband said i can plan anywhere I want to go on vacation. I have always grown up going on vacations so i have been multiple places. My husband has only ever been to Cancun and that is because i brought him there 5 years ago. So now i am really stumped on where to go. I thought of Hawaii because I've been wanting to go there. But i also really want a all inclusive resort and Hawaii does not offer those. My other idea was Jamaica. But i am too stumped that i do not want to commit to someplace even though i only have approx. a month to plan. Please help.

Kay, welcome to TTOL. I'm sure you'll get a lot of advice from the avid travelers on this forum, but we need to know a little more about you and your wishes. Where are you traveling from? How much effort are you willing to tolerate to reach your destination? What's your budget? Why do you want to do all-inclusive (convenience, knowing how much you'll spend, discomfort with leaving the property, etc....)?

Fill us in, and we'll fill you in!

Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios is a very classy British hotel, small not your typical 500 room all inclusive.. They have different meals plans to suit your needs as A/I is not mandatory. Great service and food is outstanding, rooms are very nice, pool and oceanfront. We don't do A/I but this is one place that I would return to in a minute! When we visited a few years ago, transportation was provided to and from airport in Montego Bay.

My wish is anywhere with a beach and warm weather, i am not picky in that regard. We both love snorkeling, we did deep sea fishing in Cancun and we both had a great time. Growing up i did a lot of Mayan ruins tours so i also love those, he has never been to one but i know he would love it if we did stumble upon one.
We are from MN so anywhere decent is at least a 5 hr plane ride.
Budget anywhere up to $5,000 for the vacation extras not included in that. and that is one reason why i like A.I. It's just a automatic price and we dont have to worry about stumbling across good food or bad food, or do not eat here! It's nice to just not have to worry about that while on vacation, we eat when we want and if we are out and about don't worry about getting back to the resort we'll find something. I also like that A.I TEND to be nicer resorts ( i know there are some exclusions)

Bit late for this one, but I would have thought a travel agent would have good destinations at the tips of their fingers, be able to book your trip on the spot (and at a good price), and be liable for their reputation if you had a bad time where they sent you. Plus, if something happens while you are there, they are also someone you can call for help, medevac, your government representation, whatever you need urgently.

BTW, I have no connection with any Travel agency.
