We’ll be chartering out of TMM Jan 25-Feb 2. We now have one crew member who has to leave on Jan 31st. We’ll be in Cane Garden Bay the night of the 30th. Here’s the plan:
Morning of the 31st we dinghy her to shore in CGB. She takes a taxi to Road Town, catches the 10 am ferry to STT and departs STT on a 2:20 pm flight.
Thoughts on what time we should have her ashore to call for a taxi to make the 10 am ferry?

Others may not agree, but I am the anal type that has to be early to everything. I would have the taxi pick me up at 8:30.
Go Irish!!

We send our guests from CGB to the ferry at 8:45 for the 10am ferry. I have some very reliable taxi drivers if you need a recommendation.

You’re thinking what I was thinking - earlier the better. Yes, Jason, I’d love your taxi driver recommendation and contact info. Thanks!

Let TMM taxi driver, Andrew know your plans. He will tell you what time and where he will pick her up. He's always on time.

Take the boat to West End and drop her at the ferry terminal. No need for cabs or the headache the Roadtown ferry terminal can be. You can slide right over to Jost after dropping her or head up the SFD. G

George - I thought I read that the West End ferry terminal wasn't in operation? Do you know what ferry runs from there so I can find a schedule?

I dropped someone there in Dec for a 11:30 ferry. Best bet is to call Smiths and Native son and ask what they are running. I believe they were running a morning, lunch and afternoon ferry in Dec. G

We've had crew picked up a taxi at CGB for the 10:00 ferry out of Road Town on two occasions for flights that departed between 2:00 - 3:00 pm out of STT without incident. Our boat, Ocean Song, is a TMM boat and (as mentioned in an earlier post) Andrew is very good about making sure he gets you to your destination on time. Talk to Andrew in advance and he'll set it up. Andrew's # is 1(284) 496-8430, tell him "Ocean Song" recommended you call him.
The ferry is operating out of West End. We departed from there in December (2019) and had crew depart from West End on November 30th. We left on the weekend and the ferry went to Red Hook. I think the ferry also services CA during the week.

We’ve used Andrew before and he was wonderful as well! Thanks for the tips! We dropped someone off at West End pre-Irma. If I remember correctly we had to grab a ball, tie up and dinghy them in. They would not let us pull up to the dock in a cat. And, of course, it was pouring down rain. Had to put all their luggage in garbage bags to stay dry!

There wasn't a dinghy dock as of November.

Yes, there was no dinghy dock at West End in December either but we dropped our departing crew off just beside the ferry landing. It's a long step up, but not too difficult.

We did the same. Right side of the dock. No issues dropping people off. G
