Ditto. We don't need any more bad Karma on the island, but frankly, with the causeway, we really don't need to drive through Sandy Ground for our purposes.

True, except there were problems elsewhere from the "protests". French Quarter was very much impacted and some people staying on the French side were forced to arrange boat transportation to get to the airport. The disruptions impacted a lot of people in a less than favorable way.

We just drove through SB and there are a few piles of 3/4 burned cars in piles off the street. No streets are compromised. The whole area is significantly trashed from irma and I really doubt it will ever come back...maybe...but I doubt it. Adding the protest issues didn't help
