I’m trying to find a calendar of events and holidays to help in my planning for a trip later this year, we are thinking possibly October 17-24. Any good resources? I also saw on another site that there is a holiday for St Ursula’s, but it shows October 21 and also October 23. The site states that schools and most businesses are closed for the holiday. Would that be both of those dates or just one? For planning purposes it would help to know what may not be open. I don’t imagine any other events are held around that time due to just coming out of slow season... We are really loving the idea of lighter crowds and hope we can relax and not feel like we are in a race to snag a ball every day. Thanks in advance!

Interline Regatta will be happening 13th >22nd October

Public Holiday 21st October only and it may effect some lunch time closures of restaurants but not many. Schools and non essential government offices will be closed.

Look on facebook. Go to British Virgin Island, scroll down and you will see the event calendar for 2020.

Hope this helps,
Ellen

Yes it was a bit of coincidence that the BVI Facebook page just so happened to post a calendar right before I made this post, I only saw it after! I now wonder how easy it is to avoid Interline regatta crowds if we are there during that event.

It’s very easy to avoid the interline crowd. Download the schedule from the Moorings website and go where they will not be. Be aware that the nights they are at Great Harbor or CGB you can expect a big crowd at White Bay during the day. If you do spend a night where they are the afternoon boat parties can be quite interesting and great fun. Everyone is welcome.
