It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of the passing of Lew Spruance, husband of TTOL family member Kimmers and former owner of Spyglass Villa on Virgin Gorda. Formerly from California and later moving to Florida, Lew was a sailor and all around good guy. He and Kim were also good friends with the late Bill & Di Hartzmann. Bill as many remember was past mod here on TTOL and fellow sailor. Somewhere, those two old pirates will be hanging out together again. Sail happy my friends, you're missed back here.

Lew was truly a great and fun guy! We were lucky to meet him and Kimmers and spend some afternoons with them at Spyglass Villa. Lew was also a distinguished volunteer with VISAR. He will be missed! RIP Lew!
