We were on the beach in Negril when it hit. I was swimming and felt nothing but Janet was standing talking to friends from Canada when she suddenly became very dizzy (after only one drink),someone else commented they were dizzy as well, several felt the ground shake and then they realized what it was. We all kept an eye on the sea wondering if there could be a tsunami even though the news said that was doubtful. Not sure what we would have done anyway, except run.
