Heading back to SXM in a week for 8 days can you still buy a week at a time for chair rental? If so what is the going rate?

Not really. If you ask they may do it but it's not routine since Irma. $20 a day for 2 chairs & umbrella. They need the money to keep up with chair purchases & keep bar/ restaurant running. The beach guys also really appreciative of tips as well. Enjoy your stay!
