We visited Paradise Lakes Resort, in Tampa, FL at the recommendation of a fellow TTOLr. We just spent a long weekend and have the following observations -

Staff very friendly and helpful. We originally booked a non smoking, poolside hotel room, but were given a smokers room. We requested a change and we directed to an upgraded, non-poolside, studio room in a condo for $1 more per night - no problem as it was more spacious and very clean. Food was very good, we ate all meals in one of their two restaurants and were surprised at how reasonable everything was. Pools were too cold to spend much time in as the temps got down to ~50 at night and ~80 during the day. Large conversation pool was enjoyed by many and it appeared to be around ~100 degrees.

The big activity at the resort is the competitive water volleyball pool. Each afternoon, as many as 30 players, both male and female, competed in several hours of volleyball competition - heated competition I might add. My wife, a competitive vball player, felt it was too serious for her to participate and chose not to. We found out that more than few permanent residents chose to live there due to the active vball program.

Most guests were completely nude while around the pool area. Few guests were completely nude while eating including us. The resort was very diligent in making sure only wanted guests were welcome.

There is a nightclub that was very busy on both Friday and Saturday night - with Friday advertised as 'lingerie night'. This caught us 1st timers somewhat off guard as many guests chose to wear very suggestive outfits - which we weren't prepared for.

Mgmt at the club made us very aware that there was no tolerance for overt sexual behavior in the club as they have had some trouble with that recently. We saw no sign of that during our stay.

Our bottom line - we enjoyed our stay, would go back again, but would have trouble staying more than a long weekend. Just not enough to keep us entertained, unless we ventured outside of the resort, which we didn't this trip.
