Bout time NYC mayor closed the a schools.
Wouldn't surprise me if the following occurred tomorrow:
1) suspend all domestic flights/amtrak trains/greyhound at midnight wednesday except charter, medevac, maybe a few LA NYC for govt approved travelers for emergency busiess only.
2) close all restaurants, bars, churches, schools, libraries, cinemas for 14 days at midnight Monday.
3) suspend inter state pax car travel after Thursday midnight for 15 days

3) suspend inter state pax car travel after Thursday midnight for 15 days Pretty sure that won't happen. Too drastic. Martial law would have to be declared. And believe me you DO NOT want to live somewhere with martial law. I have. If someone needs to get to work, a funeral, visit hospice, etc...you cannot close interstate travel.

Well, duh, how would you suspend interstate travel, even if you wanted to??????? You're going to have National Guard sit at every state border?? Not happening.

No but they could suspend any commercial interstate travel very easily.

Need to think outside the box. United and American whacking large percentage of domestic flights. Gov Cuomo, NY, says NY will not be able to smooth the curve and a wave will crash the health system. Hmm what will one state do to keep the wave from hitting them. Suburbs of cities in epidemics past had sentries to keep people out to stop cholera. Pharmacy only filling RX 5 days at a time Nothing will surprise me.

The Vermont Governor has all cars with Out of State plates being stopped at the border of Vermont. The State troopers are using the truck weigh pull off for the cars with NY license plates. Lucky my license plate is Vermont and I have been here for weeks. The Gov. Has a press release on television at 2pm today. Stay safe everyone and stay home!
