Doesn't really help us too much, as our return flight isn't until June, and the tickets were originally booked in August last year, so we would have to re-book by August. Who knows what will happen by the end of May anyway.

Same here as if we wanted to rebook the tickets would have to be used by December 31st and we already have tickets for our July trip.

I hope when the airlines go running to the government for help or a bailout, there are strings attached that require refunds to customers in the same form of payment in which their cancelled/changed tickets where purchased.

There will be some form of a bailout for the airlines, yes. It's in the works. For people who bought their tickets a couple of months ago, the AA extension will help them if they choose to rebook, and as a result, SXM, if the world will ever get a handle on this thing.
