Curious if anyone has heard if Hidden Beach has been open or if not, will open soon. I was looking online and they appear to be making reservations in June. However the prices are the highest I have ever seen, and would think to entice visitors the prices would be more reasonable.
It's one of the few naturist resorts in the area, so they can charge what they like. Remember too that they have an expensive "club" arrangement which gets members discounts off the rack rate, so the rack rate needs to be set high. We've visited once, very much enjoyed it, but it's very expensive for what you get.
A lot of Cancun and Riviera Maya hotels announced that they are opening June 1 and July 1. For some reason them didn't bother to ask the government first and that idea was abruptly quashed yesterday. See:
