Story already posted here before. And ALL airlines will be doing it soon, if not already. Dream on, if you think that they will deliberately continue to fly 1/3 empty planes. They can't afford to.

Scubaman--that's true. Not sure why the story about AA is making such news, as United has already been doing it. According to the CEO of United "social distancing doesn't exist on a plane". And he's correct.
