Another wonderful trip to paradise!! Flew US Air through Charlotte without issue. Rented from Leslie Bruce and got his new Nissan with 1300 miles on it. It was wonderful to get a new car from him but we felt more compelled to take better care of it. Leslie does such a wonderful job we took extra care to return it without too much sand in it. If we had seen a vacuum we probably would have swept it out for him. HA!

Stayed at Divi again in Suite 307. Love all of the space that we get and the washer and dryer always makes packing for 2 weeks a bit easier. We also love being able to snorkel off of the beach in front of our room. We ate one meal from the Divi dining room which was breakfast one morning that we brought back to the room.

Saturday – Arrived at Divi around 5PM checked in and dropped luggage. Went out to Lee's and both had ribs which were good but not the best of the week. Stopped at the grocery and got a few of the essentials but they were out of Carib!! Stopped at The Taste Factory and got a few pastries which were awesome.

Easter Sunday – We went to our favorite place on the Island, Pinel. In fact we visited Yellow Beach 3 times and always have a great time. Shared the Catch of the Day Triggerfish. We were disappointed that Steve was not there because he hurt his back. He always takes great care of us!! Snorkeling was very good but we did not venture around the corner into the open Sea as it was somewhat rough all 3 times we were there.

Easter Monday – Tried to go to Andy and Cheryl's for breakfast but they are closed on Monday. Decided to go to Friar's Bay Beach Club. For lunch had a wonderful lobster/avocado salad and Nicoise salad. The day went down hill from there. The beach got louder and louder with music and people. There was a very loud DJ at the other end but it was heard very clearly by Friar's Bay Beach Club. It got to the point where we felt like we were intruding on their party so we left. We ran into a couple of locals we had met at restaurants on previous visits who were leaving as well. We were not aware that Easter was such a huge weekend on the island. Went to The Greenhouse in Philipsburg and had Salmon sandwich and Mahi sandwich. Very good.

Tuesday – We tried to go to Karakter, but the winds were out of the SE at more than 20 mph which was blowing sand in our face, so we ended up going to Friar's Bay again instead. Lunch at Friar's Bay Beach Club was great again. The sea was much calmer and there was no music so much more relaxing. Hiked over to Happy Bay for the first time in our many visits. What a great beach!! Met Danny and bought a couple of Caribs. Later in the vacation we both read Cole Bay Band which talks about Danny. Wish we would have read that book first. Great book BTW!! Hey T. Selma we cant wait for the last of the trilogy!! Stopped at our favorite grocery store Simply on the way back to the condo. Bought the best baguette ever. Still warm when we picked it up!!

Wednesday – Pinel Island again!! Steve was back and took great care of us. We each had the Mahi fresh catch. It was awesome!! More snorkeling.

Thursday – Stayed around Divi and snorkeled. Signed up for dinner cruise but it was raining and high winds as we were leaving the condo so we decided to skip it. Of course the storm blew over quickly and we should have gone. However, we ended up at You Only Live Once (YOLO) which is next to Sunset Beach Bar. It was very relaxing. We only had drinks but the food that was coming out at other tables looked very good. It was a great place to watch the sunset. We decided to go back to Lee's for dinner. Had Mahi and shrimp which were good.

Friday – Peggy and Paul's – 'nuff said. Great time!! Seas were very rough so we were very happy that Peggy had suggested that we take Mercalm which is not available in the US. It worked great.

Saturday – Went to the workout class at Karakter with Kitsie at 9AM. It is a combo of Yoga, Palates and Tai Chi. We both enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!! Kitsie has a wonderful teaching style which is very descriptive of the moves that need to be made. Had a wonderful lunch later in the day. Grouper sandwich and a greek wrap which were great as always.

Sunday – Andy and Cheryl's for breakfast and spent the day at Club O. Picked up ribs from Mark's Place. The best ribs ever!!

Monday – Decided to go to Rainbow Café in Grand Case after talking to George at Andy and Cheryl's and finding out that it is run by Bryce who used to have Bryce Paradise on Orient. Small on site parking lot for 8-10 cars and free chairs and umbrella if you have a meal there. We both enjoyed the caesar with grilled shrimp on top.

Tuesday – Our 30th Wedding Anniversary!! We decided to spend the night at Grand Case Beach Club so we did not have to drive back to Divi after dinner and to check out a potential new place for our next visit. We got to GCBC mid morning and had a great lunch of Club with Salmon and the Triggerfish special. Both were very good. Renewed our vows while we watched a beautiful sunset then headed to L'Estaminet for dinner. Carol and company took very good care of us as always. We started with complementary champagne for our anniversary and then shared the appetizer special and the fresh catch special. We shared the Cigar dessert which was amazing. The meal was finished as always with the Tiramisu shot!! Can not say enough about how much we love this restaurant!! This was the last Tuesday carnival night of the season for Grand Case. Lots of booths selling interesting items and some fun music and parades.

Wednesday – Enjoyed breakfast on the upper deck of our room. Can not say enough about the experience at GCBC!! From the check in staff to the security and bar and restaurant staff they were all so nice!! Had lunch there again Mahi sandwich and a seafood salad. Went on snorkeling excursion to Creole Rock which was a lot of fun. Stopped at pharmacy on the way back to Dutch side to get some Mercalm to take with us and some Advil. Wow Advil is expensive on the island!!

Thursday – Went back to Pinel for our last time this visit. Sad. Took the first boat over and the last boat back. Love Yellow Beach!! Again Steve took great care of us. We had Mahi special again and pizza. Snorkeling was great again.

Friday – Our last day. Went to Kon Tiki for the day. Had Nicoise salad and pizza which were very good. Nice relaxing day!! For dinner we went to Karakter for Tapas and music. It was so relaxing!!

Saturday – Went snorkeling off of the beach at Divi first thing then checked out by 11AM. Went to check in and drop our luggage at the airport. Then we went back to Karakter to hang out. Had another great lunch. We took a shower and then headed to the airport for our 4:20 flight. It was a wonderful way to chill before getting back to reality.

The sign of a great vacation is when you are at the end of two weeks and you don't want it to end. We can not wait to go back!!
