Louise--Delta is REQUIRED to give you your money back if they significantly change your flight and obviously switching to a connecting flight is a significant change. So, that part of the equation is a given, if you decide you want to bail on the flight. As to whether the nonstop will be reinstated, that takes a crystal ball that none of us has, at this point. Best wishes, hope you are able to take your trip. (Oh, and just for good measure, there's no guarantee that Jet Blue wouldn't change their flight to connecting.. Although they do have a much longer relationship with the flight from NY, versus Ft. Lauderdale.)
