http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chris-Craft-Aqua...#ht_1095wt_1038Anybody around who ever rented these in STT?? In the mid 70's I remember a few of them being used as live-aboards in the old Yacht Haven and over in Careening Cove on Hassel Island. The big power cat rentals are eerily similiar in some ways except for the vastly superior hull quality and design with modern power plants. And starting at $87.50 PP a week it was attractive and comfortable, maybe a bit tight for 8 adults though.

I went back looking to see if I had captured any of the houseboats in my pictures from the 70s. No luck <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> But I did find this shot from the 80s. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> Not sure I would want to put to sea in this floating trailer. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> LocalSailor… please do not tell me it was your first house on island <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />
