We just returned last night from a week at Sapphire Beach Club. We will do a trip report as soon as we catch our breath...we came back to a major snowstorm in Pittsburgh and I have not even made it to my house yet! We are at my parents house to pick up our kids right now! But a few thoughts until our report:
---the island looks beautiful...very green and lush with lots of butterflies and flowers.
--- Cupecoy was rocky and sand was scarce on the far end by Long beach. There was more sand in a few of the other areas though.
--- Orient had more sand than when we were there in November of 2002, but not as much as in the years before that.
----The new road down into Phillipsburg (from the top of Cole Bay Hill) makes the approach into Phillipsburg much more visually stunning.
---Somehow we missed the TTOL party on Thursday at Bamboo Bernies.....sorry I did not get to meet all of you who were there!
Official report to come later. We had a WONDERFUL trip!!!
