I haven’t been able to find anything regarding travel from SXM to the US. Can anyone share their experience leaving the island?

I left on the first jet blue flight to leave SXM on Aug 1, so a more current departure might be different, but PJIA had taken all precautions, with hand sanitizer everywhere, and markings on the floor for social distancing. The security check was a breeze, as the flight was barely 1/4 full. There was a bar open on the lower level, where I watched my flight land.
I made a connecting flight at JFK. The airport area that I experienced was pretty empty, as was the waiting area for my flight. Very few eating establishments were open. This flight was also mostly empty. The whole thing was a breeze.
