TomB OP Traveler Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 3,454 Virginia wishing STJ	One may see the following items on a menu on their travels (after COVID) This quiz is part two of the world Culinary Challenge and is in also in two parts: First, identify what country the dish originates in for 5 points, and then describe what you are getting ready to eat for another 5 points! A total of 100 points are available. Please post your score Bon Appétit 1. ("Hollandse Nieuwe") - Raw Herring (Netherlands) 2. ("Colcannon") - Mashed potatoes with kale or cabbage (Ireland) 3. ("Rabo De Toro") – Bull’s Tail Stew (Ox tail is commonly substituted) (Spain) 4. ("Moscardini Affogati") - Baby Octopus in White Wine Sauce (Italy) 5. ("Zopf") a white braided bread – (Switzerland) 6. ("Bubble and Squeak") Fried potato and cabbage (carrots, peas, Brussels sprouts, or any other leftover vegetables can be added) – (England) 7. ("Lapin à la Moutarde") – Rabbit in a Mustard Sauce (France) 8. ("Bacalhau à Brás") – Salt Cod, potatoes, onions and olives (Portugal) 9. ("Saganaki") – Fried Cheese Appetizer (Greece) 10.
