Wow. Even with all the rain we get in the PNW I have to occasionally add water due to evaporation.

Well yes , but because of the total amount of rain we had for the past two months I had no need to put water into the pool.

That's both good and bad. My water bill in the summer is up there due to my inground watering system and adding pool water in those rainless days.

As you know, especially for those who have a cistern for potable water, rain is a blessing. "City Water" is expensive, especially when compared to "free".
