June BVI trip cancelled; Dec. postponed. Now doing land based STT & STJ for Christmas. Any feedback or suggestions for dinner on STJ? 1824 at Mongoose Junction and Extra Virgin Bistro good choices? Morgan’s Mango? Cafe Roma is always a must for our group.

Is there a way to get out to Lime Out - any folks hanging out on shore who might run 4 of us out and we find our way back or can one swim there? Never been to Coral Bay before.

Tues - Friday any best beach / bar hangouts?

Yes to all you mentioned. I would add The Terrace & Ocean 362 @ Gallows Point....all in Cruz Bay. Never been to Lime Out but hear it's great.

La Tapa is our favorite restaurant in Cruz Bay. We love Lime Inn too. Fly Away Charters and Salt Deck can get you to Lime Out.

Lime Out was great, drinks and food both really good. I haven't been since they moved locations in Coral Bay. We were able to rent paddle boards and go out to the bar but I think the procedures are different now.

Also have seen great things about Longboard.....

We enjoy Longboard. The drinks are inventive and the food is very well crafted and plated. Happy hour for two with a couple of small plates usually comes to $90 plus tip.

If you like Mexican then Greengoes is quite good. Some of their specials are worth seeking out; I had a pork and cheese stuffed Poblano pepper that was a top 5 dish for me this year. Shambles on Centerline Road across from Paradise Lumber has Mexican Tuesday's and a solid pub food menu with BBQ brisket usually Friday or Saturday with leftover repurposed into good specials. In the same neighborhood is the new Windmill Bar with the best sunset views on St. John. Island Breeze across from Shambles has great West Indian takeaway food with a new menu every day.

At Oasis during the day they have a lunch menu cooked with a changing menu every day of West Indian foods and pate'.

There is a lot more. I'd write it up, but from Irma to COVID the restaurant landscape is very fluid. For example, Driftwood Dave sold Shambles to staff and is opening a prepared meals business in the Coral Bay Isola building.

Thanks all for the info - had great cheeseburger and drinks at Skinny Legs today, the best drinks at Lucy’s but Lucys did close at four today.
Dinner on St. John at the Terrace was excellent; decent dinner the night before at Cafe Roma but not quite the same now as it was before the fire xxx years ago. Hike to the Annenburg ruins was awesome; doing Lind Point Trail tomorrow Cruz Bay to Honeymoon Beach. As others said it was tough looking out over the channel from the hilltop at Annenburg seeing Great Thatch, Tortolla and Jost in distance but no boats.

Another option is a catered meal from http://www.christysofstjohn.com/. We greatly enjoyed a gourmet meal prepared by Christie that we were able to pick up in Cruz Bay and bring back to our charter boat at Honeymoon Beach. In non-Covid times she would set up a beachside meal, which we will certainly do when conditions allow.
