That is why we are asking for "a good beach resort and local nightlife" i.e. where there is town and waterfront area. Any hotel recommendations in this area from anyone is appreciated.

You probably should use something like google maps satellite to see the terrain of STT The East End Resorts are close to Red Hook - [small commercial center] but not safe comfortable walkable distances Google *******Sapphire Beach - Secret Harbor - Ritz carlton - Point Pleasant - Magaritaville -
