I have a Delta AMEX card but would like another card for the occasions when the AMEX is not accepted. Can anyone recommend a card they are happy with that gives Delta miles?

Get on the Delta site and see what is offered. They usually have one that gives a big chunk of miles for new cards after first purchase.

I’ll try that. Thanks. I think it was probably a dumb question. Delta appears to only offer AMEX cards.

Little late here but I have the Amex Platinum and the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Comes with a hefty price, but you get most of it back and then some. You can use the points on any airline as well. I ditched all airline branded cards so we weren’t locked into them.

Not the answer to your question, but another option is a good cash back card. We have the Capitol One Venture card; 2% cash back on every purchase, which we use to cancel our travel purchases. We've never had much luck actually using airline miles so the cash works better for us.
