It turns out that one the people traveling with us next February loves to fish from the beach. Is that something that is allowed on the French side? Are there contacts any of you might have that would be able to get him outfitted? I have to admit that since I'm more of a stream fly fisherman, I've never paid attention to whether anyone is fishing from the beach. Any help appreciated.

Not from the beach but always see fishing activity on Grand Case from the pier. I have never seen any surf casting but charter boats look available
