Getting toward the end of our short stay. We used to stay 3 weeks. Now just 11 days. Maybe get back here for a longer stay next year. Day 9 was a day of complete rest. Getting old. Just went to Topper’s for a steak sandwich and my wife had a meatball sandwich. Both good. Briefly talked to Topper , said he is sad leaving the place in 3 weeks. Most likely it will be torn down. Day 10 Went to Le Sucrerie for baguette and croissants : windy day still in veggie mode. Some trinket shopping and got some Rose. Laying by pool windy cool day. Went to Pineapple Pete’s , haven’t been there in a few years, last time it was disappointing. This time it was good. My wife had the lobster thermidor, I had the pedestrian fish and chips, which rivaled old Dingy dock original Aussie owners version back in the day. I think it was about 60% full.

We remember that fish & chips well. Lagoonies also use to do a great fish and chips. Still very good at St Maarten Yacht Club.
